The Lake Murten climate is mild and very sunny.  Recent winter
seasons have been cold and crisp with very little fog; so that the
Wine Path is great for a stroll also on cooler days.  The winter
brings a contemplative atmosphere to the lake region, while in
autumn and spring, the winds clear the air for exceptional visibility
of the rich landscape.  The view on the Alps and the southern shore
of Lake Murten are particularly impressive.  Come and enjoy the view!
